I’ve made plenty of content showing how to list and prep items for Amazon, and if you were really serious about doing it, there are thousands of videos on YouTube detailing every single step that you could watch.
But most of you won’t do it.
Most of you won’t take a single step towards your goals.
This blog is not an Amazon FBA blog.
This blog is a get rich blog.
My goal isn’t to become the next retail arbitrage YouTuber and to create how-to content regarding every Amazon FBA subject.
There are thousands of other YouTubers who provide such information for free.
My mission is to become as rich as possible and help you do the same.
Whether we do it through reselling, real estate or cryptocurrency does not matter to me.
Follow what I do and we will join the 1% of humanity together.
My journey to the top began when I started working at BMW in the call center.
This was in 2018.
After hustling my way up, I ended up as a salesman at Mercedes-Benz even though I had no non-luxury car sales experience.
I worked my way up through sheer determination and will.
That being said, I wasn’t satisfied making what was considered “high income” to most people.
People said I was crazy for leaving my high paying position, just as they did when I left university to pursue my goals and threw away my internship at a respectable firm.
I’ve attempted reselling even before I worked in luxury dealerships.
In fact, my failure selling on Shopify and eBay is what made me need to get a job in the first place.
My initial failure led to me having to work at Target to bail myself out.
While I was working there, I listened non-stop on my AirPods to sales training tapes by Brian Tracy and Grant Cardone.
I worked there, learning how to close high-ticket deals while stocking the shelves and emptying trucks.
I visualized myself working at a luxury dealership and was determined to turn it into a reality.
My visualizations came true and that led me to the next step of my journey.
While I did not succeed at reselling and dropshipping at first, I knew that it was possible because I did make a few sales.
It just wasn’t in the quantity needed to replace my income.
It is now 2023.
Nothing has changed.
I’ve lived the last 5 years day by day with the same goal in mind.
To get rich by any means necessary and to be willing to die in the process of trying.
And let me tell you, it feels great to finally start living the life of my dreams.
I’m not even close by any means, but I know I will get there, and there is nobody who can stop me.
Why am I rambling on about this?
I thought this article was about how to become a successful reseller.
What I am trying to say is that you will probably completely fail before you ever get a taste of real success.
You will probably lose all your money, get into debt and hit rock bottom.
If you’re not willing for that to happen to you, give up now.
You don’t have what it takes to win.
If you read that and feel as if it would still be worth it, as long as you could achieve your goals in 7 years, then read on.
I’m about to show you exactly how to become a successful reseller.
1. Show up every single day
People always tell me that they tried scanning a couple of items and they couldn’t find anything.
Okay, then give up now.
It is physically impossible for there to be not even a single item that you can flip from retail stores to Amazon and eBay.
People do it every single day, no matter where you are located.
The difference is that winners show up everyday, regardless of if they find anything or not.
They keep looking until they find profitable inventory.
They refuse to leave empty-handed.
If their area is dry, they drive to another area and look for inventory there.
They don’t count how many scans they do, they just decide to win and then they do.
Showing up every single day is arguably the most important step to becoming a successful reseller.
You must continue to show up, otherwise the opportunities will go to someone like me who will be there.
2. Find out what you like to sell and develop an obsession
Stop trying to sell everything.
You don’t know anything about the products you sell because you spread yourself too wide.
Find out what you are naturally drawn to sell.
What do you buy?
What do you already know?
What don’t you mind having to keep if you get a return or damaged inventory?
This is a powerful place to begin because you eliminate some of the risk.
You won’t mind if something doesn’t sell because you already are a buyer of that kind of inventory.
You have specific knowledge from your own experience that you can use to know what products to scan.
I began selling on Amazon through Pokemon cards.
During the epic 2020-2021 Pokemon card bull run, I was hustling Pokemon cards and sports cards on eBay.
Every village moron thought they were a reseller because they got their hands on some Hidden Fates Elite Trainer Boxes from Walmart, battling 25 other retards in the card section.
They all gave up once the hype train came to a halt.
Once the fast and easy money ran out, they moved on to the next flashy get rich scheme.
These losers will be broke forever because they cannot finish what they start.
I haven’t changed my game plan since the beginning.
Instead of going from one business idea to another like the rest of these fools, I stayed consistent and got real results.
All I did was the same thing, over and over again.
I continually aimed to hit the next level and was clear on what I wanted to achieve.
I took my UberEats money, funneled it into Pokemon cards, sold Pokemon cards at inflated prices on eBay, bought crypto with that money and then took my profits from selling at the top to buy used books to flip on Amazon.
That’s how I started with $0 and built a successful reselling business.
When there’s a will, there’s a way.
Find out what you already know and get obsessed now.
3. Stop reading books and watching YouTube videos
When my TikTok video went viral and hit over a million views before I got banned, I had idiots messaging me asking me if I recommended a certain eBook to learn how to sell on Amazon.
Fuck out of here with that nonsense.
Reading books is merely procrastination.
Some college nerd sent me a link to some cookie-cutter eBook for sale on a landing page for $49 asking me if I recommend it.
I don’t recommend reading books to procrastinate actually taking real action.
I’m going to eventually write my own book detailing step-by-step teaching how to sell on Amazon, but it will only serve as an actionable framework.
You can learn everything you need for free on this blog, on YouTube and by watching my videos.
It’s better for you to dive in head first and get real experience rather than studying a book and partaking in mental masturbation.
My book will consist of actionable steps that you can take, which will only work if you do something.
This will ward off idiots who read books as an excuse to not take action until they think they know everything.
Newsflash, you don’t know everything and you never will.
Take action now.
The type of people who think they need books to become successful are college morons who have been conditioned to study and memorize facts instead of taking action.
Taking action is the only thing that matters in reaching success.
Unlike the college geeks who read on about subjects they have never done, you will take action and learn real world experience that cannot be found in books.
4. Take it seriously
You either want to become a successful reseller or you just like the idea of being rich without doing any work.
If you are the latter, give up now and go get a job.
You won’t get anywhere unless you take reselling more seriously than any other job you’ve ever had.
You are the boss now and that means you are a manager.
Manager of yourself.
If you cannot even manage yourself, why are you trying to become an entrepreneur?
The end goal of entrepreneurship is to manage a winning team and to get rich.
If you can’t even discipline yourself to take your business seriously, it is probably better that you get a job.
5. Pull the fucking trigger
Stop overthinking and pull the fucking trigger.
You can only pretend like you want to win for so long before eventually have to give it up.
If you actually want to win, start winning right now.
Buy the product you’re not sure of.
Send it into Amazon.
List it on eBay.
If it fails, good.
You learned something.
Just do anything.
If you cannot pull the trigger, you will never succeed at reselling.
You not only need to learn how to pull the trigger, but also how to do it in high pressure situations.
Once you develop killer instinct, you can get as rich as you want.
6. Have no backup plan
If you have a backup plan, you will surely use it.
I never had a backup plan and still don’t to this day.
Why is that?
Because I’m not going to fail.
Those who create backup plans lack 100% self-belief.
Unfortunately, you will not win if you fall short of 100% self-belief.
99% is not enough.
That’s why they call us the 1%.
Only 1% has the balls to have no backup plan.
7. Leave the house and don’t come back without inventory
Get out of your house now and go sourcing.
Don’t come back without inventory.
Sound fair enough?
If you are thinking, “but what if I don’t find anything? What if I waste my time?”
Then give up now and go get a job at McDonalds.
Did you scan every single piece of clothing in TJ Maxx and look up every single shoe in Ross/Burlington?
Did you scan every single item inside Costco, BJs and Sam’s Club?
Did you visit every Walmart and Target within 40 miles of your house?
Did you scan every full-price item in discount stores like Marshalls?
Did you scan every book at Goodwill and Dollar Tree?
If the answer to any of these questions is no, then you haven’t done jack shit.
Keep scanning, or give up now.
Find profitable inventory, buy it and bring it home now.
8. Do whatever it takes to win
Most of you won’t win because you let your emotions get in the way of success.
If you want success, you go out and get it.
If you feel as if there is something coming between your goals, that’s only because you let that happen.
Nothing can stop me from getting rich.
That’s because I do whatever it takes to win.
You need to be ruthless to become a winner.
Losers only go as far as their moral compass allows them to.
Winners go above and beyond, getting rich by any means necessary.
People accuse me of being a scalper as if I’m supposed to feel insulted by that word.
Guilty as charged, I love making money off Pokemon cards, grocery products, and Squishmallows.
Words are meaningless and if you let words stop you from becoming successful, you are a loser.
Winners don’t give a fuck about your feelings and they’ll do whatever it takes to win.
9. Stop seeing obstacles and start seeing opportunities
There are no obstacles besides what you label as one.
Obstacles = opportunities.
What you see as an obstacle is the reason why I continue to win.
You think it’s an obstacle that you are gated in most brands.
I think you being gated in most brands is a great opportunity for me.
Wouldn’t it be better to frame obstacles as opportunities in your mind and join the winning side rather than whining and complaining?
Bitching only makes you stay a loser.
You can either find out how to win or stay a whiner bitch.
10. Persist until you win
If you want to win, you cannot give up.
You must continue to persist regardless of what happens.
If you don’t have the commitment to win and the persistence to keep at it until you get results, then you don’t have what it takes to win.
Unfortunately, you will not get results.
I’ve done the same thing over and over again for an entire year.
Can you do that?
Most say they can, but their actions do not match their words.
If you can, great, you will probably succeed.
But you already know that.
The self-belief of winners is what makes success inevitable for them.
The lack of self-belief of losers is the reason why nothing works out for them.
I prefer to write about the mindset required to reach reselling success rather than the technical details.
That’s because winners would have found all the technical information they needed online on their own and would have already taken action.
Theres winners who have read or watched my content that have already made money online and are actively winning.
The ones who haven’t made money yet lack the success mindset, which means all the technical details in the world will do absolutely nothing for them.
Unfortunately, everything you know from school and work is contrary to what it takes to actually win in life.
Reselling is the oldest business model in the world.
If it doesn’t work for you, that’s not because its a scam.
It means you did not do what it takes to win.
